Rapidly detect multiple genetic targets for Shiga-toxin producing Escherichia coli O157:H7 and other STEC in food and environmental samples with the Thermo Scientific™ SureTect™ Escherichia coli O157:H7 and STEC PCR workflow. The workflow has been granted AOAC Performance Tested MethodsSM Certification from the AOAC Research Institute and NF VALIDATION™ from AFNOR (ISO 16140-2:2016).
The assay has been extensively tested on a range of food matrices from food manufacturing environments, including raw meat (excluding poultry), vegetables, fruits, juices, and raw dairy samples and enables users to reliably detect and differentiate Shiga-toxin producing Escherichia coli O157:H7 and other STEC in as little as 10 hours.
